Stabilization of Clay with Waste Soda Lime Glass Powder
AbstractThis study was carried out with an intention to observe any sign of improvement of clayey soil due to addition of waste soda lime glass powder (WSLGP). Waste soda lime glasses were crushed and sieved through #200 (75μm) sieve and mixed with clay in 3, 6, 9, and 12% in dry weight of the clay.

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Self-activation of slag-cements with glass waste powder
The aim of this study is to evaluate the behavior of glass powder waste as alkaline activator of slag when both are used in blended cement. The slag blended cement was prepared with 70% slag, and then the slag was replaced with 10-20% glass powder by mass. The self-activation concept is here introduced. Ground glass releases alkalis through dissolution

THE PRODUCTION OF NOVEL GLASS-CERAMICS FROM PROBLEMATIC UK WASTES USING BORATES
Incineration of waste is increasing in the UK as landfill resources diminish. Municipal waste incineration produces waste residues; bottom ash, fly ash and air pollution control (APC) residues.
