From Spent Graphite to Battery‐Grade Anode Material Through High‐Temperature Regeneration
A high‐temperature treatment at 2000–3000 °C is employed for reconditioning spent graphite for reuse in lithium‐ion batteries. This process allows for the removal of impurities, the reduction of surface and crystal defects, and thus restores the electrochemical performance with regard to Coulombic efficiency and specific capacity.
