Elevating phosphorus accumulation in waste stabilisation pond algae : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Facultative waste stabilisation ponds (WSP) are used globally for wastewater treatment due to their low cost and simple operation. While WSPs can be effective at removing organic pollutants and pathogens, phosphorus removal is typically poor.

Mapping and Innovating Business Models of Food Hubs in Short Food Supply Chains

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Short food supply chains (SFSCs) offer sustainable alternatives to conventional food systems (CFSCs) but require effective intermediaries to scale and remain competitive. Food Hubs (FHs) serve this role by enhancing SFSC efficiency and market reach while upholding community‐oriented values. However, limited research has examined how FHs design
