A new recycling technique for the waste tires reuse
Environmental Research, 2017In this series of laboratory experiments, the feasibility of using fixed bed biofilm carriers (FBBC) manufactured from existing reclaimed waste tires (RWTs) for wastewater treatment was evaluated. To assess polyamide yarn waste tires as a media, the fixed bed sequence batch reactor (FBSBR) was evaluated under different organic loading rate (OLRs).

Utilization of Waste Tire Rubber in the Manufacturing of Particleboard
Materials and Manufacturing Processes, 2009Utilization of waste tire rubber in the manufacture of particleboard was investigated, using the same method as that used in the wood-based panel industry. The manufacturing parameters were: a specific gravity of 0.65 and waste tire rubber content (10/90, 20/80, and 30/70 by wt% of waste tire rubber/wood particle).

A Thermogravimetric Study of Waste Tire Powder
2010 International Conference on E-Product E-Service and E-Entertainment, 2010The pyrolysis process and the volatile component were analyzed by a TG/DTG method for a typical Chinese waste tire power of 60-200 mesh at different heating rate. The results showed that the main weight loss distribution can be divided into 3 phases during the pyrolysis.

Carbon from microwave assisted pyrolysis of waste tires
Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis, 2013A correlation between experimental conditions of microwave assisted pyrolysis (MAP) of tires and some of the characteristics of char are reported. MAP is a complementary or even an alternative methodology to recycle waste polymeric materials. This appealing way was employed in managing waste tires since they contain a high amount of microwave absorbing

Copyrolysis of scrap tires with oily wastes
Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis, 2012a b s t r a c t In this study, the conversion of hazardous wastes into liquid fuels was investigated. The pyrolysis of bilge water oil and oil sludge from ships, scrap tires and their blends was carried out at 400 and 500 ◦ C in absence and presence of catalyst. A commercial fluid catalytic cracking catalyst and Red Mud were used as catalyst. Pyrolysis

Pyrolysis of Waste Tires with Copper Nitrate
Energy Sources, 2004Influence of copper(π)nitrate(CN) on the pyrolysis of waste tires in 50 cm3 static batch reactor in a nitrogen atmosphere are studied. The products of pyrolysis was investigated with in situ Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy as well as off-line gas chromatography/Mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
