Clustomesogen Showing Sub‐Zero Liquid Crystal Properties: Supramolecular Assembly Between Cs2[Mo6Ii8(OCOC2F5)6] and Hexaethylenoxide Containing Mesogenic Dimers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Associating a red‐NIR phosphorescent octahedral hexanuclear molybdenum cluster compound with hexaethyleneoxide chains bearing mesogenic units on both ends leads to an emissive hybrid liquid crystal showing mesomorphism on a very unusual temperature range down to −25°C.

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs

QSPR study of the water solubility of a diverse set of agrochemicals: hybrid (GA/ MLR) approach

open access: yesSynthèse: Revue des Sciences et de la Technologie, 2016
A quantitative structure- property relationship (QSPR) was performed for the  prediction of the aqueous solubility of pesticides belonging to four chemical classes: acid, urea, triazine, and carbamate. The entire set of 77 pesticides was  divided into a training set of 58 pesticides and a test set of 19 pesticides according to the Snee technique. A six

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. The hydrogels are also integrated as 3D channels in organic electrochemical transistors as part of

Analysis of radial oscillations of gas bubbles in Newtonian or viscoelastic mediums under acoustic excitation [PDF]

open access: yes
Acoustic cavitation plays an important role in a broad range of biomedical, chemical and oceanic engineering problems. For example, kidney stone can be crushed into the powder (being discharged naturally) by the acoustic cavitation generated by carefully
