Resource potential of water-soluble gas in the Palaeogene Huizhou Sag, Pearl River Mouth Basin
Based on the formation mechanism of water-soluble gas, combined with the geological conditions of the Palaeogene Huizhou Sag, the resource potential and utilization of water-soluble gas in the Palaeogene source rock in the Huizhou Sag are analyzed ...

Encapsulation of Ethylene Gas into Granular Cold-Water-Soluble Starch: Structure and Release Kinetics [PDF]
Ethylene gas was introduced into granular cold-water-soluble (GCWS) starches using a solid encapsulation method. The morphological and structural properties of the novel inclusion complexes (ICs) were characterized using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, and Raman spectroscopy.

Water-soluble organic nitrogen in the gas phase measured by the denuder–filter pack method [PDF]
The WSON in the gas phase and aerosols were simultaneously measured by the denuder–filter pack method. Approximately 33 ± 18% of the WSON in the atmosphere existed in the gas phase. A large portion (approximately 76 ± 33%) of the gaseous WSON collected in the present sampling method was occupied by basic species.

Measurements and modeling of a water soluble gas-phase mercury species in ambient air
There are few reliable data on the speciation of Hg in ambient air, although this information is critical to understanding the fate of Hg once released from point sources. The water soluble species of Hg that are thought to exist in flue gases would be subject to far greater local removal rates than is elemental Hg vapor, but methods are lacking to ...

Uptake of Water‐soluble Gas‐phase Oxidation Products Drives Organic Particulate Pollution in Beijing
Despite the recent decrease in pollution events in Chinese urban areas, the World Health Organization air quality guideline values are still exceeded. Observations from monitoring networks show a stronger decrease of organic aerosol directly emitted to ...

Optimal Control for Transmission of Water Pollutants [PDF]
Pollutants are formed when oil, gas, chemical plants, etc. discharge their harmful waste materials into stream or other water bodies. In this paper, a mathematical model for water pollutants which are soluble and insoluble has been formulated as a system

Using of exhaust gas heat from a condenser to increase the vacuum freeze-drying rate
Vacuum freeze dryer is able to remove some of the moisture content of the material. However, the drying rate is very slow because the sublimation process must propagate through the layers of material.

Production of Water-Soluble Carbohydrates from Aspen Wood Flour with Hydrogen Chloride Gas
The aim of this study was to optimize the reaction conditions for concentrated acid hydrolysis of aspen wood flour by employing anhydrous hydrogen chloride gas to produce fermentable sugars. Gas hydrolysis with HCl was conducted both with and without temperature control during hydrolysis under a relatively low pressure of 0.1 MPa.
