Study on development law of water-conducting fault zone in deep gently inclined double coal seam mining

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2022
In order to study the development characteristics of water-conducting fracture zone in deep-buried gently inclined multi-coal seam mining, taking the overlapping mining area of 2-1 coal and 2-2 coal in Shicaocun Coal Mine as the research object, through

Adaptive filtering of microseismic data for monitoring a water-conducting fractured zone in a mine

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
AbstractWater-conducting fractured zones in a rock mass can cause problems in mining. Attempts have been made to monitor their development using microseismic signals. However, due to the lack of prior information, it is difficult to filter out mixed low-frequency interference with traditional denoising methods.

Water Inrush Mechanism During Mining Adjacent to Large Water-Conducting Faults

open access: yesWater
In mining operations, the rock mass located between the water-conducting fault fracture zone and the waterproof protective coal column is highly susceptible to damage, which may result in sudden water inrush disasters.

Prediction of the Height of Fractured Water-Conducting Zone: Significant Factors and Model Optimization

open access: yesWater, 2023
Predicting the height of the fractured water-conducting zone (FWCZ) can be challenging due to their significant grey characteristics and the difficulty in scientifically selecting relevant influencing factors. To address this issue, we utilized the Pearson correlation analysis method and the grey entropy correlation analysis method to identify the ...

Electrical Anisotropic Response of Water Conducted Fractured Zone in the Mining Goaf

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2016
Based on the Maxwell equation, the occurrences of fractured zones are studied through the galvanic method. The electrical and magnetic fields are first derived in the spatial domain. To simplify the calculations, the computational formulas of the electrical fields in the spatial domain are transformed into the wavenumber domain by the Fourier transform.

Verfication of matrix diffusion by means of natural decay series disequilibria in a profile across a water-conducting fracture in granitic rock

open access: yes, 1989
Data from a rock drillcore, taken perpendicular to a water-bearing fracture in crystalline rock, clearly indicate water-rock interactions in and around the fracture.
