A Novel Co3Se4‐CNFs Hybrid System as a Versatile Enhancer for Pd NPs Toward Ethylene Glycol Electrooxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Pd nanoparticles anchored on a Co3Se4‐CNF hybrid support exhibit enhanced electrocatalytic performance for ethylene glycol oxidation in alkaline media. The synergistic interaction between Co3Se4 and CNFs improves electronic conductivity, promotes uniform Pd dispersion, and reduces charge transfer resistance, resulting in superior activity, durability ...

Liquid Crystals that Respond to the Aqueous Phase Reactions Catalyzed by Synthetic Enzyme Mimics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
An approach to molecular sensing at liquid crystal (LC)‐aqueous interfaces is presented using fullerene‐based enzyme mimics. Nematic LC droplets in a medium consisting of enzyme mimics and substrates are characterized by polarized light microscopy, and the responses are supported by spectrophotometry and interfacial tension measurements.
