Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A catalyst‐additive free covalent adaptable network is developed from star‐shaped poly(lactide‐co‐glycolide) cross‐linked with pyromellitic dianhydride, enabling internal carboxylic acid‐driven transesterification. The resulting biodegradable network exhibits mechanical robustness (Young's modulus ≈1.6 GPa), complete recyclability, rapid biodegradation

Optimal Control for Transmission of Water Pollutants [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematical, Engineering and Management Sciences, 2018
Pollutants are formed when oil, gas, chemical plants, etc. discharge their harmful waste materials into stream or other water bodies. In this paper, a mathematical model for water pollutants which are soluble and insoluble has been formulated as a system

Flow and chemical characteristics of the St. Johns River at Jacksonville, Florida [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
This report will be of substantial value to water managers in developing the St. Johns River as a multiple resource. Evaluation of the capacity of the river to accept pollutants without adversely affecting other uses requires detailed data of flow and

Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...

Assesing the Water Quality Trading Ratio in the North Bosque Watershed as an Alternative of Maintaining Water Quality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Water quality standard is defined by the level of environment absorptive capacity of pollutants. Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) is a program to maintain the water quality in the impaired river segments. Using the Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT).

Balancing Electrons to Break the Activity‐Selectivity Trade‐Off in H2O2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Carrier‐concentration balancing in CuS is achieved by coupling cobalt dopants with cobalt vacancies, converting CuS from p‐ to n‐type to accelerate 2e− ORR while withdrawing excess carriers to optimize *OOH binding for H2O2 desorption. The catalyst reaches 8.14 mol g−1 h−1 with >84% selectivity in 1.0 M KOH and drives robust electro‐Fenton dye ...
