Unveiling Global Diversity of Patescibacteriota and Functional Interactions with Host Microbes
Patescibacteriota represents a diverse group of ultra‐small epibiotic bacteria, which is largely overlooked. By integrating ribosomal protein S3‐based community profiling with MAG‐based metabolic potential analyses, this study provides new insights into their distribution, diversity, and potential interactions with other bacteria across diverse ...

Novel Antifungal Scaffold Targeting Tubulin Overcomes Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum Resistance
Addressing pesticide resistance, novel chromone‐acylhydrazone hybrids targeting fungal tubulin are synthesized. Compound G24 potently inhibited S. sclerotiorum (EC50 = 0.21µg mL−1) and demonstrated enhanced field performance via microencapsulation, offering a sustainable strategy against resistance and for global food security.

This chapter applies the laws, theories, and principles of physics to contaminants dissolved or suspended in water. Water pollution occurs throughout the hydrologic cycle, including in surface waters, aquifers, sediment, water vapor, and in the biosphere. Thermodynamics and fluid dynamics in the hydrosphere are discussed.
