Fast Track to the Overdoped Regime of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Thin Films via Electrochemical Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Overdoping high temperature superconductors, such as YBa2Cu3O7‐δ (YBCO), is expected to maxime the critical current density by optimising the condensation energy for a given defect landscape, providing new thrust for the development of fusion enabling coated conductors. Here, precise oxygen control is achieved via an electrochemical method allowing for

High‐Throughput Exfoliation of Optoelectronic‐Grade MoS2 via Turbulent‐Flow Wet Jet Milling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable wet jet milling exfoliation method is demonstrated for producing optoelectronic‐grade MoS2 nanosheets using environmentally friendly ethyl cellulose in ethanol dispersion media. Guided by fluid dynamics modeling, this approach is optimized to achieve record‐high exfoliation throughput and concentration.

Investigation of the Effect of Pumping Depth and Frequency of Flapping Hydrofoil on Suspended Matter Discharge Characteristics

open access: yesMachines
In order to study the effect of the pumping depth and pumping frequency of the flapping hydrofoil device on suspended solids in the waters, this paper takes raceway aquaculture as an example, and introduces a flapping hydrofoil device to improve the ...

A Non‐Reciprocal Architected Porous Medium

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In several fluid flow, energy‐dumping, and energy‐harvesting applications, a dominant flow direction or dominant resistance direction is desirable. In this study, we propose a simple modular geometry that doubles flow resistance in one direction relative to the opposite direction, while maintaining laminar viscous flow.

Investigations on the Impacts of China's Rural Water Policies: From Efficiency and Equity Perspectives [PDF]

open access: yes
China’s water resources are scarce. Given its limited water resource, policies in China have been traditionally focused on meeting sectoral demands for water by increasing the supply rather than managing demand. However, effective water resource policies
