Durable Electro‐Photothermal Superhydrophobic Coatings Based on Liquid‐Like Functionalization of Nanoparticles: Improved Water Repellency and Droplet Rebound

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are functionalized with liquid‐like linear polydimethylsiloxane (LPDMS) brushes and conventional solid‐like alkyl brushes, then incorporated into a resin and spray‐coated onto substrates. The resulting surfaces exhibit distinct water‐repellent behaviors.

Inkjet Printed Heating Elements on Textile Substrate for Functionalized Gloves

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This paper focuses on the implementation of a thin‐film heating structure dedicated to a human hand form using the inkjet printing technology, on a textile substrate for the application area of flexible wearable technologies. The heating performance of the finger structures on the textile substrate demonstrated comparable stable and homogeneous heating

Design of High‐Energy Anode for All‐Solid‐State Lithium Batteries–A Model with Borohydride‐Based Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study proposes a function‐sharing anode design to enable nonmetallic lithium insertion while maintaining intimate interfacial contact with the solid‐state electrolyte. A combination of lithium‐compatible and conformable borohydrides, highly conformable indium metal, less‐graphitized acetylene black, and a layer of highly graphitized massive ...
