The interpretation of data from the Viking Mars Atmospheric Water Detectors (MAWD): Some points for discussion [PDF]

open access: yes
Properly interpreted, water vapor column abundance measurements can provide important insights into many of the processes that govern the diurnal, seasonal, and climatic cycles of atmospheric water on Mars.

Composition and Resulting Band Alignment at the TiO2/InP Heterointerface: A Fundamental Study Combining Photoemission Spectroscopy and Theory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

Impact of water vapor annealing treatments on Al2O3/diamond interface

open access: yesAIP Advances
Our group developed the first inversion-type p-channel diamond metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor, which featured normally off properties by employing water vapor annealing treatments for the oxygen-terminated diamond surface.

Measurement of atmospheric precipitable water using a solar radiometer [PDF]

open access: yes
A technique is described and tested that allows the determination of atmospheric precipitable water from two measurements of solar intensity: one in a water-vapor absorption band and another in a nearby spectral region unaffected by water ...

Experimental study on water vapor absorption of rock and its influencing factors

open access: yes矿业科学学报, 2017
Water absorption is one of the most important factors which can induce serious rock deformation and failure. Water vapor absorption experiments were carried out on rock samples collected from three different coal mines. Meanwhile, the mineral components,
