Measurements of H2O in the terrestrial mesosphere and implications for extra-terrestrial sources [PDF]
Recent measurements of mesospheric water vapor and their implications for the existence of extraterrestrial sources of water are discussed. This study was prompted by the work of L.

Atmospheric water vapor transport: Estimation of continental precipitation recycling and parameterization of a simple climate model [PDF]
The advective transport of atmospheric water vapor and its role in global hydrology and the water balance of continental regions are discussed and explored.

Selective Benzene Capture by Metal‐Organic Frameworks
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) hold significant potential for capturing benzene from air emissions and hydrocarbon mixtures in liquid phases. This capability stems from their precisely engineered structures, versatile chemistries, and diverse binding interactions.

Influence of Deep Convection on Cirrus and Water Vapor Concentration in the Upper Troposphere and Lower Stratosphere [PDF]
It is well known that stratospheric humidity is primarily controlled by freeze drying (ice crystal growth and sedimentation) of air ascending across the cold tropical tropopause.

Tropospheric Phase Calibration in Millimeter Interferometry
We review millimeter interferometric phase variations caused by variations in the precipitable water vapor content of the troposphere, and we discuss techniques proposed to correct for these variations.

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Methane measurement by the Pioneer Venus large probe neutral mass spectrometer [PDF]
The Pioneer Venus Large Probe Mass Spectrometer detected a large quantity of methane as it descended below 20 km in the atmosphere of Venus. Terrestrial methane and Xe-136, both originating in the same container and flowing through the same plumbing ...

For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Tropospheric monitoring technology for gravity wave experiments [PDF]
Tropospheric refractivity fluctuations are an important error source for gravity wave detection by Doppler tracking in that they alter the phase and phase rate of electromagnetic signals. Estimates are presented of the effect of tropospheric fluctuations
