A study on the water vapor transport trend and water vapor source of the Tibetan Plateau

Theoretical and Applied Climatology, 2020
The climatological characteristics of water vapor transport over the Tibetan Plateau (TP) were investigated in this study by using the ERA-interim and JRA55 monthly reanalysis dataset. The trends of water vapor budget and water vapor sources during the past 40 years were also revealed.

Water vapor and CO2 transport through amine-containing facilitated transport membranes

Reactive and Functional Polymers, 2015
Abstract Amine-containing CO 2 facilitated transport membranes have great potential to be applied for hydrogen purification from synthesis gas. In some applications, the humidity of the retentate stream is required as well as the purity of hydrogen.

Transport properties of electrons in water vapor

Physical Review A, 1988
Accurate values of transport properties of electrons in water vapor at room temperature are calculated, over a wide range of E/${n}_{0}$ values, from a numerical solution of Boltzmann's equation via the momentum method introduced earlier [Phys. Rev. A 33, 2068 (1986); 34, 2185 (1986)].

Water Vapor Transport Measurement across PEMs

ECS Transactions, 2014
Water vapor transport through the PEM is one of the key parameters that can help achieve high performance and low-cost fuel cell system. Ex-situ water vapor transport rate (WVTR) measurement is extremely difficult and expensive to measure. This transport depends on many parameters such as ionomer equivalent weight, ionomer type, thickness ...

Mulch resistance to water vapor transport

Agricultural Water Management, 2011
Abstract Mulches augment soil moisture availability to plants by restraining direct evaporation of soil water. Yet, in field conditions wind decreases their resistance to water vapor transport, diminishing their efficiency as a water conservation measure. The relation between vapor transport resistance and wind speed was investigated in a wind tunnel

Electron transport and ion clustering reactions in water vapor and deuterated water vapor

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1975
The interaction of low energy electrons and negative ions with pure water vapor and deuterated water vapor has been studied in the following two experiments: (I) A time-of-flight electron swarm experiment has been used to determine longitudinal electron diffusion coefficients, DL, in H2O and D2O for electric-field-to-pressure ratios, E/P, from 1 to 25 ...

Water vapor transport in structurally varied polyurethans

Journal of Macromolecular Science, Part B, 1969
Abstract A study has been made on four chain-extended polyurethan (PU) elastomers differing only in the nature of the flexible segment, namely, poly(butylene adipate) (PBA), poly(tetramethvlene oxide) (PTMO), poly(propylene oxide) (PPO), and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO).

Effect of temperature on water vapor transport properties

Journal of Building Physics, 2014
The temperature effect on water vapor transport properties of calcium silicate is studied, together with the influence of sample thickness. For material characterization purposes, the bulk density, matrix density, and total open porosity are measured at first.

Water Vapor Transport in Hydrophilic Polyurethanes

1974
Water uptake and water vapor transmission rates have been obtained on two series of hydrophilic segmented polyurethanes based on MDI, butanediol, and several block copolymer polyethers with varying proportions of poly(ethylene oxide) PEO and poly(propyleneoxide) PPO. In series I the ratio of PEO to PPO is varied at fixed hard segment concentration.
