An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

The dynamics of wave energy

This paper examines the challenges of efficiently harnessing wave energy. A variety of energy conversion device types is reviewed and a generic heaving buoy device selected for detailed examination. A number of modelling and control challenges are detailed and a hierarchical control structure is indicated.

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells

We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface
