Wave power presents as the movements of water particles close to the ocean surface. The energy intensity depends on the height and frequency of waves. A large amount of wave power in random sea motivates us to think of using ocean wave energy for generating electricity.

Dual Gyroscope Wave Energy Converter
Volume 6: Energy, 2019Abstract This research models the energy extracted by gyroscopic wave energy converters. The goal is to assess the use of such devices to provide supplementary power to fish farms and lighting on oilrigs. This project implements the Moving Frame Method (MFM) in dynamics to model the power generated from a gyroscopic wave energy converter.

Control of Wave Energy Converters
2021Energy from the ocean is one of the least exploited renewable and sustainable energy sources, and possesses an enormous amount of untapped energy. The harnessing of energy from the ocean can be accomplished by several methods such as salinity and temperature gradient, waves, currents, and tidal variations.

Linear sliding wave energy converter
OCEANS 2015 - Genova, 2015We propose two methods to power autonomous ocean buoys by wave energy harvesting in deep ocean environments. Both concept include a linear sliding wave energy converter (LS-WEC), which consists of a translator and a rotary generator that works on angular motions, such as rolling and pitching due to ocean waves.

Wave Energy Converters under mild wave climates
OCEANS'11 MTS/IEEE KONA, 2011Today, wave energy harvesting is considered to be economical only at oceanic scale, although the hindrance to demonstration are posed by the same harsh environment that is considered so essential. Is it reasonable to investigate the opportunity to install Wave Energy Converters (WECs) in the Mediterranean seas?

Eccentric Rotating Wave Energy Converter
2019 IEEE Underwater Technology (UT), 2019Our previous work on wave energy harvesting produced a design called Circular Sliding Wave Energy Converter (CSWEC), where a heavy sphere moved along a low-friction circular track that was mounted inside a surface buoy. The sphere was connected to a center-mounted generator by a thin rigid arm. As the buoy pitched and rolled, in response to ocean waves,
