Multidimensional lame wave functions

Mathematical Notes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, 1989
The n-dimensional Helmholtz equation may be separated in ellipsoidal co- ordinates. In this way we find for \(n=2\) the Mathieu function, for \(n=3\) the Lamé function, for \(n=4\) the so called multi-dimensional Lamé function, being considered here.

Analytic Atomic Wave Functions

Physical Review, 1932
A method is suggested for setting up analytic atomic wave functions which form good approximations to Hartree's functions. These functions are of the form $\ensuremath{\Sigma}c{r}^{n}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}ar}$, where the exponent $a$ as well as $c$ and $n$ vary from one term to another.
