A pendulum hybrid generator for water wave energy harvesting and hydrophone-based wireless sensing
The environmental monitoring system is of great significance in marine scientific research and exploration. However, battery-operated sensors in such a system limit its working time and make maintenance difficult.

Annular Electromagnetic Generator for Harvesting Ocean Wave Energy
To sustainably power ocean sensors by harvesting ocean wave energy, an annular electromagnetic generator (A-EMG) based on the principle of Faraday electromagnetic induction is proposed in this paper.

Numerical Investigation of Wave Generation Characteristics of Bottom-Tilting Flume Wavemaker
Motivated by the recently developed bottom-tilting wavemaker specially designed for tsunami research, we propose to investigate numerically the wave generation mechanism of this new wave generator. A series of numerical experiments is carried out using a

Generalized Maass wave forms [PDF]
We initiate the study of generalized Maass wave forms, those Maass wave forms for which the multiplier system is not necessarily unitary. We then prove some basic theorems inherited from the classical theory of modular forms with a generalization of some examples from the classical theory of Maass forms.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

Design and Analysis of Harmonic Reducer Combined Curve Cam Wave Generators
The shape of wave generator directly affects the mechanical characteristics of the flexspline. Flexspline is the weakest part of harmonic drivers. In order to improve its life, the design of a cam wave generator based on a conical curve combination is ...
