Modelling of Non-Linear Quadruplet Wave-Wave Interactions in Operational Wave Models
Coastal Engineering 2000, 2001The aim of this paper is to examine deficiencies of the widely used Discrete Interaction Approximation (DIA) for the computation of non-linear quadruplet wave-wave interactions in operational wave prediction models. Its sensitivity to the frequency resolution of the wave spectrum is illustrated by means of a simple wave growth experiment.
