Wave-by-wave control in irregular waves for a wave energy converter with approximate parameters [PDF]
This paper investigates wave-by-wave control of a single-mode wave energy converter driven to operate such that the oscillation velocity closely matches the hydrodynamically optimum velocity for best power absorption. Such control typically requires prediction of the incident wave profile, which, for realistic wave spectra may be obtained using up-wave

Ocean Wind and Wave Measurements Using X-Band Marine Radar: A Comprehensive Review
Ocean wind and wave parameters can be measured by in-situ sensors such as anemometers and buoys. Since the 1980s, X-band marine radar has evolved as one of the remote sensing instruments for such purposes since its sea surface images contain considerable

Identification Of The Causes Of The Seabed Dynamics (Cotonou Coast/Benin)
Due to the issues related to the evolution of the seabed, the determination of the retreat or advancement of the ocean has been the subject of numerous scientific studies. Coastal areas are among the most dynamic places on the planet.

Realizable Wave Parameters in a Laboratory Flume
In order to establish a sound basis for the methodology deployed for the generation of realistic waves under laboratory conditions, a comparison is presented between numerical and physical realizations derived from the Random Phase and the Random Complex Spectrum method for wave synthesis.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
