Autonomous scanning probe microscopy and multi‐objective Bayesian optimization navigate a ternary (Al,Sc,B)N combinatorial library. Registered photoluminescence, electron‐probe compositional mapping, and X‐ray diffraction connect local electromechanical function to defect‐sensitive emission, composition, and crystal structure.

Rapid microwave plasma torch engineering tunes crystal phases, carbon graphitization and oxygen‐vacancy defects in HfO2/C@C core‐shell fibrous membranes. Synergistic multi‐loss effects optimize impedance matching to deliver −65.75 dB reflection loss and a 7.37 GHz effective bandwidth for flexible electromagnetic wave absorption.

OEG‐functionalized Y6‐derived acceptors induce thermally driven vertical phase separation, enabling pseudo‐planar heterojunction organic photodetectors. The resulting PM6:YTEG‐4F and PM6:YTEG‐4Cl organic photodetectors suppress dark current density by approximately 260‐fold and 210‐fold, respectively, while maintaining efficient photoresponse ...

Challenges posed by the integration of wave power onto the Irish power system [PDF]
Paper presented at the 9th European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference, Southampton, UK, 5–9th September, 2011In order to gauge the potential impact of wave power in Ireland, the capacity factor of theoretical wave farms deployed at various locations ...

Assessment of wind and wave energy potential along the Indian coast
The focus is now on sustainable development, which is inevitable without harnessing renewable energy sources. The fundamental element in wind wave generation is the interaction between air and sea which helps in momentum exchange between atmosphere and ...

An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

An Adaptive Inhibitory WSe2 Transistor for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Image Processing
Conventional retinomorphic devices typically require deliberate gate‐bias tuning for each illumination condition. In this paper, we demonstrate an adaptive inhibitory WSe2 transistor that uses photo‐induced regime shift between the subthreshold and accumulation modes to achieve decision‐free, intensity‐adaptive image processing within a single pixel ...

Millimetre Wave Power Measurement [PDF]
There is currently no traceable power sensor for millimetre wave frequencies above 110 GHz. This thesis investigates a novel approach to remove this limitation by combining the placement of a uniquely designed microchip directly in waveguide.

This work reveals the UV‐curing‐induced monomer‐rich domain, oligomer‐rich domain, and entangled oligomer domain. The cured submicron films in stressed state induce interlayer nano‐wrinkle structures during the deposition of the second layer. Stress‐free cured films in relaxed state form non‐diffusive, diffusive and semi‐diffusive interlayer ...
