AbstractThe design of a sealed wave power generator has been proposed, whose driving parts are sealed in a closed outer covering to protect them from corrosion by sea water. Wave energy is collected using a pendulum. Overrunning roller clutches are used to convert the swing of the pendulum to unidirectional rotation of generators. A design method based

High-vacuum-compatible high-power Faraday isolators for gravitational-wave interferometers [PDF]
Faraday isolators play a key role in the operation of large-scale gravitational-wave detectors. Second-generation gravitational-wave interferometers such as the Advanced Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) and Advanced Virgo will ...

Laser power stabilization for second-generation gravitational wave detectors [PDF]
We present results on the power stabilization of a Nd:YAG laser in the frequency band from 1 Hz to 100 kHz. High-power, low-noise photodetectors are used in a dc-coupled control loop to achieve relative power fluctuations down to 5×10−9 Hz−1/2 at 10 Hz ...

Practical Wave Power Generation System.
We developed a new type of wave power generation system. In this system, water valves without mechanical operation are combined with air chambers. A test plant was installed on the south breakwater at Haramachi thermal power station, and testing for practical use was carried out at the Haramachi site from 1996 until 2000.

Evolution Trend Research of Global Ocean Power Generation Based on a 45-Year Scientometric Analysis
Since 1973, studies have explored ocean power generation from different perspectives. However, in the past 45 years, few studies have attempted to comprehensively review the existing studies on ocean power generation using wave energy, tidal current ...
