The optimal share of wave power in a highly renewable power system on the Iberian Peninsula
In a highly renewable future pan-European power system, wave power might complement the renewable generation mix in a beneficial way. The potential of wave energy is estimated to be highest at Western European coastlines.

Phase-conjugate reflection by degenerate four-wave mixing in a nematic liquid crystal in the isotropic phase [PDF]
We report the generation of conjugate wave fronts by degenerate four-wave mixing in the isotropic phase of the nematic substance p-methoxy-benzylidene p-n-butylaniline. The temporal and spatial properties of the conjugate wave fronts are verified.

Wave Roller Device for Power Generation
AbstractThe renewable energy is nowadays in growing interest for the developing countries. Sea waves are an important source to produce clean energy. In Lebanon, the application of wave and tidal energy is not yet developed. The aim of this work is to design a high-efficiency system that harvests the sea wave energy to produce electrical power. A novel

POWER GENERATOR FROM OCEAN WAVE ENERGY CONVERSION
The need for electrical energy has increased every year. On the other hand, the largest power plants in Indonesia still use non-renewable energy sources such as coal and petroleum, while these non-renewable energy sources will eventually run out. To anticipate running out of this energy, a renewable energy source is needed.

Power Generation Using Mechanical Wave Energy Converter [PDF]
Ocean wave energy plays a significant role in meeting the growing demand of electric power. Economic, environmental, and technical advantages of wave energy set it apart from other renewable energy resources. Present study describes a newly proposed Mechanical Wave Energy Converter (MEWC) that is employed to harness heave motion of floating buoy to ...
