Integral equations of scattering in one dimension [PDF]
A self-contained discussion of integral equations of scattering is presented in the case of centrally-symmetric potentials in one dimension, which will facilitate the understanding of more complex scattering integral equations in two and three dimensions.

A wood‐based magnetic and conductive material called Magwood (MW), capable of blocking almost 99.99% of electromagnetic waves (in the X‐band frequency range), is synthesized using a simple, solvent‐free process. MW is lightweight, resists water, and is flame‐retardant, making it a promising alternative for shielding electronics. The rapid proliferation

Why is d-wave pairing in HTS robust in the presence of impurities?
In the recent theory of strong correlations by Kulic and Zeyher it has been shown that by lowering doping concentration a forward peak in the charge scattering channel is developed.

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Wave Scattering in Inhomogeneous Strings [PDF]
The scattering of waves in an inhomogeneous infinite string with one change in the density of the string is well known. In this paper, we study the case where there are two discontinuities in the density of the string. It turns out that we can write the solution for this case as well.

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Experimental characterization of singlet scattering channels in long-range Rydberg molecules
We observe the formation of long-range Cs$_2$ Rydberg molecules consisting of a Rydberg and a ground-state atom by photoassociation spectroscopy in an ultracold Cs gas near 6s$_{1/2}$($F$=3,4)$\rightarrow$np$_{3/2}$ resonances (n=26-34).
