Enhancing Performance and Reliability of Hf1‐xZrxO2 Morphotropic Phase Boundary Films via Nanolaminate Structuring and Microwave Annealing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Hf–Zr–O‐based morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) thin films often suffer from limited endurance and poor uniformity due to intrinsic phase instability. This work proposes a nanolaminate architecture that spatially separates competing phases, stabilizes phase formation, and suppresses wake‐up‐induced degradation.

Power Allocation Strategies for MIMO Radar Waveform Design

open access: yesIranian Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2011
The role of waveform design is central to effective radar resource management for state-of-the art radar systems. The waveform shape employed by any radar system has always been a key factor in determining the performance and application. The design of

An Anti-Interrupted-Sampling Repeater Jamming Method Based on Simulated Annealing–2-Optimization Parallel Optimization of Waveforms and Fractional Domain Extraction

open access: yesSensors
Faced with increasingly complex electronic jamming environments, intra-pulse agility has become a primary method of anti-interrupted-sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) for radar systems.

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Design of Constant Modulus Radar Waveform for PSD Matching Based on MM Algorithm

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The power spectral density (PSD) shape of the transmit waveform plays an important role in some fields of radar, such as electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM), target detection, and target classification.

A Pressure Microsensor Made of Parylene‐C for Use as Medical Implant

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A monolithic parylene‐C pressure sensor with gold strain gauges provides 6.2 μV$\mu{\rm V}$·mmHg$\cdot{\rm mmHg}$−1$^{-1}$ sensitivity. The morphology of a sputtered thin film strain sensor is granular/columnar, which results in a high gauge factor of 7.5. Thermal bonding and parylene‐C coating create a hermetic cavity.

Galinstan Liquid Metal/Polyurethane Composite as a Multifunctional Stretchable Electrode and Piezoresistive Strain Sensor With Minimal Drift

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Liquid metal additives are processed in elastomer host resulting in highly conductive and stretchable composites. The material functions as a piezoresistive sensor with minimal drift, low stiffness, and enhanced operating range. The film can replace wires to charge a mobile phone at ∼350% strain and monitors bodily motion in real‐time via a portable ...

Transmit Waveform Design for Symbol-level Precoding-based One-bit Dual-functional Radar-communication

open access: yesLeida xuebao
This study explores the use of one-bit Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC) to mitigate the challenges of high hardware costs and excessive power consumption in large-scale Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) communication and radar systems.

Buckling‐Driven Linearity in Flexible Capacitive Pressure Sensors Based on a Three‐Dimensional Dual‐Pore Polyurethane Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible pressure sensor utilizing a 3D dual‐pore polyurethane structure is developed to overcome the intrinsic trade‐off between sensitivity and linearity. By inducing sequential buckling through distinct pore sizes and shapes, the device achieves highly linear and sensitive responses across a wide pressure range.

Flexible Pressure Sensor With Co‐Optimized Sensitivity and Linearity Based on Gradient Toroidal Microstructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor with gradient toroidal CNT/PDMS microstructures is reported. The hierarchical geometry enables sequential electrode contact, achieving a sensitivity of 256.20 kPa−1 and linear response (R2 = 0.99) over 0–1000 kPa.
