Radar Waveform Design and the Heisenberg Group

open access: yesApplied and Computational Harmonic Analysis, 1995
The paper under review is in the spirit of a recent paper on the deformation theory of radar ambiguity functions published by the same authors [Weyl multipliers. J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 2, 191-215 (1995)]. It begins with a presentation of the Heisenberg group theoretic setting [\textit{W. Schempp}, Radar reception and nilpotent harmonic analysis. I--IV.

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

Water Adsorption‐Induced Color Sensor: Insight Into the Sensing Mechanism and Interfacial Engineering for Improved Responsiveness

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report a unique color‐sensing phenomenon of a TiO2/SbSI:Sb2S3 device utilizing X‐ray absorption. Based on the revealed penetration and adsorption of water onto TiO2, we successfully improved the color response speed and sensitivity by incorporating a hydrophilic polymer interlayer, thereby opening up opportunities for photodetection applications ...

Joint Communication and Jamming System Design Based on Filter Bank Multicarrier Chirp Waveform: Using for Curvilinear Flight Scenario

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
A joint communication jamming waveform is proposed in this study based on the FBMC- chirp. To increase the number of false targets in a single pulse period, the chirp signal is modulated to different subcarrier groups.
