Ptychographic wavefront cameras
Optics LettersWe introduce a snapshot wavefront camera capable of reconstructing the complex field of an object with near quantum-limited accuracy. This system incorporates a diffraction grating at the entrance aperture and an array of cameras positioned to align with the grating orders, capturing the field with varying impulse responses.

Nonparametric narrowband wavefront estimation from wavefront gradients
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1999The wavefield sampled by a two-dimensional (2-D) planar array can he characterized by a delayed signal. This correspondence investigates the problem of the nonparametric estimation of the delay function (or wavefront) when the waveform is narrowband. The wavefront is estimated by integrating the local estimates of the differential time of delay (TOD ...

A comparison of wavefront-optimized and wavefront-guided ablations
Current Opinion in Ophthalmology, 2009Optimized aspherical as well as custom wavefront-guided treatments attempt to reduce the induction of visually disturbing aberrations than can occur with conventional spherocylindrical corneal ablation. This review highlights a comparison of the advances and limitations of the two treatments.Optimized aspherical as well as wavefront-guided corneal ...
