Initial Demonstration of Mercury Wavefront Correction System [PDF]
High average power operation of the Mercury Laser induces dynamic aberrations to the laser beam wavefront. Analysis of recent data indicates that up to 4 waves of low order aberration (mainly focus error or power, with spatial resolution < 0.5 cm{sup -1}) could be expected at each pass.

Computational modeling of plant root development: the art and the science
Summary Plant root development, like any developmental process, arises from the interplay between processes like gene expression, cell–cell signaling, cell growth and division, and tissue mechanics, which unfold over a wide range of temporal and spatial scales.

Clinical evaluation of MyoCare in Europe (CEME) for myopia management: One‐year results
Abstract Aims To evaluate the efficacy of CARE spectacle lenses in slowing myopia progression among European children. Methods In a 2‐year randomised, parallel‐group, double‐masked, multicentre clinical trial, 234 European children aged 6–13 years were enrolled. All participants were myopic, with a cycloplegic spherical equivalent refractive error (SE)

Optical characterisation and vision quality assessment of two myopia control contact lenses
Abstract Purpose This investigation examined the image and vision quality of two commercially available daily disposable myopia control soft contact lenses. Methods Wavefront errors were measured with an SHS Ophthalmic aberrometer for two myopia control soft contact lenses: a coaxially designed dual‐focus lens (omafilcon A, CooperVision MiSight® 1 day,
