Wavefront corrections of intraocular lenses
Ophthalmology Clinics of North America, 2004This article describes two currently available intraocular lenses (IOLs) that have special design features allowing for correction of optical aberrations other than spherical refractive errors. Although they are not yet fully "customized" lenses, their development has involved average aberrations measured with wavefront technology.

Surface solution to correct a freeform wavefront
Applied Optics, 2021In this paper an equation is presented to design a refractive surface such that, given an arbitrary wavefront, the surface refracts it into a perfect spherical wave. The equation that computes these refractive surfaces is exhaustively tested using ray-tracing techniques, and the performance is as expected.

Tomagraphic wavefront correction for the LSST
SPIE Proceedings, 2006The Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) is a three mirror modified Paul-Baker design with an 8.4m primary, a 3.4m secondary, and a 5.0m tertiary followed by a 3-element refractive corrector producing a 3.5 degree field of view. This design produces image diameters of

Wavefront shaping for intraocular scattering correction
OSA Imaging and Applied Optics Congress 2021 (3D, COSI, DH, ISA, pcAOP), 2021In this work we propose a non-invasive alternative to cataracts surgery by means of manipulating the wavefront of the incident light. We show a two-fold improvement in the Strehl ratio of the ocular Point Spread Function.
