Effect of 0.025% atropine on ocular biometry changes during accommodation
Abstract Purpose Low concentration atropine is an effective treatment to slow myopia progression and axial elongation and also reduces accommodation. On‐axis ocular dimensions of the eye change during accommodation; hence, this study aimed to quantify the effect of 0.025% atropine eye drops on accommodation‐induced changes in ocular biometry.

This study demonstrates that orientational disorder in all‐dielectric chiral bilayer metasurfaces suppresses linear birefringence and enables robust circular eigenpolarizations across wide angular and spectral ranges. Experimental and numerical results reveal significant circular dichroism and optical activity, highlighting the potential of disordered ...

This study introduces a novel time‐resolved spectroscopy approach enabling ultrafast terahertz (THz) modulation in silicon‐based optical switches. Utilizing photon‐induced processes, it achieves a record THz switching time of 1.3 ps and a modulation depth over 500%. The method demonstrates active sub‐cycle pulse control, offering a new pathway for high‐

Sketch of Norman Epstein at his 60th anniversary lecture to the Chemical and Biological Engineering department at the University of British Columbia. Abstract Before 2005, the term ‘teetering’ was relegated to the annuls of history as the term ‘fluidization’ was commonly utilized to describe gas–solids contacting processes.
