Chiral Sensing of Amino Acids under Visible Light via Hydroxypropyl Cellulose Gels
Hydroxypropyl cellulose gels enable visible‐light‐based chiral detection of amino acid enantiomers. This study showcases their structural color properties for distinguishing phenylalanine and alanine enantiomers. The gels exhibit pH‐responsive color changes, high sensitivity at low concentrations (0.2 wt.%), and long‐term stability, offering ...

This study reveals the critical influence of film thickness and excitation wavelength on the ASE threshold in metal halide perovskites. By optimizing these factors, the ASE threshold is significantly reduced, providing key insights into optical confinement and carrier distribution for advancing electrically pumped perovskite lasers.

Curcuminoid boron difluoride dyes containing triphenylamine units are prepared and their photophysical and electrochemical properties are investigated. These new light‐emitting dyes are used in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) emitting at 800 nm with 1% external quantum efficiency, and show low threshold amplified spontaneous emission in thin ...

This work demonstrates the use of reactive laser annealing to selectively tune the epsilon‐near‐zero condition of tin‐doped indium oxide patches integrated in silicon waveguides. This postgrowth annealing technique enables flexible control over the optical constants of transparent conducting oxides (TCOs) at critical telecom wavelengths, paving the way
