Tuning Surface Phonon Polaritons in One‐Dimensional Complementary Nanostructures via Curvature and Dielectric

Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
Curvature and dielectric is introduced to tune properties of surface phonon polaritons (SPhPs) in complementary nanostructures: nanowire (NW) and nanohole (NH). It is found that NH complements the frequency band range of SPhP of NW. Frequency‐band subinterval of the SPhP in NHs and NWs can be tuned by dielectric.

A nematic liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) exhibiting dynamic laser oscillation behavior modulated by mechanical stretching and contraction is synthesized. This study investigates the influence of liquid crystal elastomer deformation characteristics on multidimensional complex microcavity laser systems.
