Hyperbolic Topological Quantum Sources

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, we present the experimental realization of hyperbolic topological quantum sources on silicon chips, which only require fewer resources to achieve a higher brightness. It shows a high utilization efficiency and a strong robustness. Abstract Robust Integrable Quantum Optical Sources, Constructed by Topological Boundary States, Are Crucial ...

Agile Free‐Form Signal Filtering and Routing with a Chaotic‐Cavity‐Backed Non‐Local Programmable Metasurface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multi‐parameter‐tunable, all‐metallic, low‐loss, wave‐chaotic cavity enables a frequency‐insensitive (over a 7 GHz bandwidth) technique to synthesize desired transfer functions within smaller windows to high accuracy and with complete reconfigurability of shapes and center frequencies.

Single‐Pixel Infrared Miniaturized Spectrometer Enabled by Ultra‐Broadband Reconfigurable Photodetection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A near‐infrared tunable micro‐spectrometer is achieved by integrating a PbS photodetection unit and a light modulation unit based on liquid crystal tuned optical resonances, demonstrating a wavelength tuning range exceeding 850 nm. This micro‐spectrometer shows high fidelity in spectral reconstruction and is also successfully applied to plastic sorting,
