Polarization Decoupling Multi‐Port Beam‐Splitting Metasurface for Miniaturized Magneto‐Optical Trap

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A meta‐device‐based six‐beam delivery system is proposed for miniaturized MOT, featuring a novel polarization decoupling multi‐port beam‐splitting (PD‐MPBS) metasurface using propagation and geometric phases. The fabricated PD‐MPBS samples exhibit high beam‐splitting power uniformity (within 4.4%) and polarization purities (91.3–93.2%).

Quantum Valley Hall Effect‐Based Coupler with Continuously Tunable Transmission for Topological Information Communication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The quantum‐valley‐Hall‐based bridge boundary has the frequency dependent wave localization. Utilizing the frequency dependency, this article experimentally shows the micro‐electromechanical‐systems‐based topological coupler with continuously tunable transmission coefficients by the frequency of interface modes within a single bulk bandgap. Furthermore,

Topological Singularities and Edge‐State Coupling Enable Robust on‐Chip Slow Light

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the first experimental observation of a topological quantum‐interference‐like effect in a 1D on‐chip system, utilizing two topological mechanisms for robust slow light. Topological charges ensure immunity to parameter deviations, while edge states provide robustness against disturbances.

Ionic Double‐Network Hydrogels for Integrated Electromagnetic Shielding and Self‐Powered Sensing in Wearable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional dual network ionic hydrogel is used to address the challenges of EMI and health detection integration for CIEDs. An absorption‐based EMI shielding mechanism is achieved through ion polarization/interfacial relaxation. With an optimal SE of 63.75 dB and absorption loss greater than 93%, the wirelessly integrated self‐powered sensor in ...
