We have proposed a reverse ridge strip waveguide and a slot waveguide structure for the dispersion compensation at 1550 nm wavelength. The resonance between strip- and slot-waveguide modes has been used to calculate the dispersion at the required ...

This study demonstrates coherent control of 15N nuclear spins coupled to VB−${\text{V}}_{\text{B}}^{-}$ centers in isotope‐enriched hexagonal boron nitride. Selective addressing via spin‐state mixing enables Rabi driving, quantum gates, and coherence times exceeding 10 μs$\umu{\rm s}$.

A method for generating a microwave vortex field [PDF]
In this paper, we propose an on-end structure of a circular waveguide that forms a vortex field of the microwave range. We construct its numerical model.

Materials exist that are useful for gamma scintillation, radiation shielding, neutron‐gamma pulse shape discrimination (PSD), thermal neutron detection, or high refractive index applications. While certain materials have exhibited optimal performance for each of these applications, none achieve multiple functions.

Design and Implementation of a Ku Band Waveguide Energy-Selective Device
This paper presents a waveguide energy-selective device operating in the Ku band. By utilizing the nonlinear characteristics of PIN diodes, the device can autonomously switch its operating state according to the power level of incident signals inside the

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

A regenerated cellulose/MXene aerogel film is engineered with a surface‐confined, coral‐like polyaniline skin to intensify interfacial polarization while a porous, percolated conductive core is retained. By molten salt hydrate processing and interfacially confined oxidative polymerization, PANI growth is localized at the outer surface and internal ...

Effective thickness of gallium arsenide on the transverse electric and transverse magnetic modes
The aim of this work is to investigate gallium arsenide, a particular kind of semiconductor. The study employs a three-layer asymmetric slab waveguide structure, where a thin gallium arsenide (GaAs) film is deposited on a glass substrate, and above the ...
