Nanostructured Optical Superabsorbers from Carbon Nanotube Forest for Heat Management Using Environmental Blackbody Radiation from the Visible to Mid‐Infrared

Our computational model of the optical absorption from multiwalled carbon nanotubes suggests the optical absorption depends strongly on the in‐plane electrical conductivity, and weakly on the through‐plane conductivity. Such strong absorption enables solar‐to‐thermal conversion for heat scavenging in cold climates and radiative cooling in hot climates,
