Time-Division-Multiplexing–Wavelength-Division-Multiplexing-Based Architecture for ONoC
Journal of Optical Communications and Networking, 2017Future many-core processors will require high-performance yet energy-efficient on-chip networks to provide a communication substrate for the continually increasing number of cores on one chip. Optical networkon- chip (ONoC) is employed as a promising candidate interconnection solution for its high bandwidth and low energy consumption.

Wavelength-division multiplexing with femtosecond pulses
Optics Letters, 1995We demonstrate wavelength-division multiplexing with a single broadband femtosecond source by slicing the 3.7-THz spectral bandwidth of 85-fs laser pulses into 16 channels that are modulated individually.

Multisoliton interactions and wavelength-division multiplexing
Optics Letters, 1995Multisoliton interactions are studied with an asymptotic expansion of the N-soliton solution in the limit of large frequency separation between the channels. In this limit the spectral distortion is small and the peak frequency shift of a channel is the sum of pairwise shifts as a result of interaction with other channels.

Compact wavelength division multiplexers and demultiplexers
Applied Optics, 2002Compact devices for wavelength division multiplexing and demultiplexing, believed to be novel, are presented. These devices are based on planar optics configurations, comprising multiplexed diffractive optical elements. The principle, design, and recording of these planar devices are described, including the fact that the recording is done at a single ...

Wavelength Division Multiplexing
SPIE Proceedings, 1985Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) represents an approach for expanding the communication capacity and for implementing special data techniques in a fiber optics system. This technology is implemented by adding optical sources of different wavelengths at optical transmitting locations. The present paper is concerned with some of the current efforts
