High‐Sensitivity, High‐Resolution Stimulated Raman Photoacoustic Spectroscopy Enabled by Continuous‐Wave Intracavity Pump‐Stokes Beams

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 3, 5 February 2026.
High‐sensitivity, high‐resolution stimulated Raman photoacoustic spectroscopy is achieved by coupling continuous‐wave pump and Stokes beams to a high‐finesse optical cavity. This approach successfully resolves the narrow Raman rotational transition S0(0) of H2 with sub‐kHz spectral resolution and attains an unprecedented sensitivity of 0.5 ppm using ...

Multimode fiber optic wavelength division multiplexing [PDF]

open access: yes
Optical wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems, with signals transmitted on different wavelengths through a single optical fiber, can have increased bandwidth and fault isolation properties over single wavelength optical systems.

Coexistence of continuous variable QKD with intense DWDM classical channels

open access: yes, 2015
We demonstrate experimentally the feasibility of continuous variable quantum key distribution (CV-QKD) in dense-wavelength-division multiplexing networks (DWDM), where QKD will typically have to coexist with several co- propagating (forward or backward ...

Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) Soliton Transmission in Dispersion Managed Standard Fiber Systems.

open access: yesThe Review of Laser Engineering, 1999
An alternating dispersion scheme for dispersion managed WDM soliton is proposed over standard fiber line to improve the tolerance of path-average dispersion of the fiber combination. A WDM transmission experiment at 4×20 Gbit/s over 1000 km was successfully demonstrated with the proposed dispersion arrangement.

Distributed Multi-target Localization System Based on Optical Wavelength Division Multiplexing Network

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2019
A distributed multi-target localization system based on optical Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) network is demonstrated. The wideband orthogonal waveforms are generated by introducing the chaotic OptoElectronic Oscillator (OEO).

Few-Mode Fiber with Low Spontaneous Raman Scattering for Quantum Key Distribution and Classical Optical Communication Coexistence Systems

open access: yesSensors
In this paper, the theoretical model of spontaneous Raman scattering (SpRS) in few-mode fiber (FMF) is discussed. The influence of SpRS on quantum key distribution (QKD) in FMF is evaluated by combining wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) and space ...
