The plasma edge of transparent conducting oxide SrNbO3 shifts from ∼2 eV in the visible range to 1.37 eV in the near‐infrared region by off‐stoichiometry using the vacancy sites as quasi‐substitutional virtual elements. This work advances the stoichiometry engineering of perovskite oxides using oxide molecular beam epitaxy, allowing synthesis beyond ...

This research applies advanced laser beam shaping (LCoS‐SLM) to fabricate the Ti‐6Al‐4V alloy via laser powder bed fusion. A tailored beam is used to prevent martensite formation and create a dual α+β microstructure by controlling cooling rates.

Wavelets and Continuous Wavelet Transform
The concepts of wavelet theory were provided by Meyer, Mallat, Daubechies and many others.Wavelets are well localized, oscillatory functions which provide a basis of and can be modified to a basis of , where is a bounded domain. Wavelet transform or wavelet analysis is a recently developed mathematical tool for signal analysis.

Sonochemical Functionalization of Glass
A new method for functionalizing glass using ultrasonication of aryl diazonium salts. Aryl radicals generated by ultrasounds react with glass, forming a stable, covalently bonded organic film. The functionalized glass adheres microorganisms such as microalgae, fungi, and bacteria, suggesting potential applications in enzyme production, filtration ...
