Rapid Microwave Plasma Engineering of HfO2/C@C Core‐Shell Fibrous Membrane Toward Flexible High‐Performance Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rapid microwave plasma torch engineering tunes crystal phases, carbon graphitization and oxygen‐vacancy defects in HfO2/C@C core‐shell fibrous membranes. Synergistic multi‐loss effects optimize impedance matching to deliver −65.75 dB reflection loss and a 7.37 GHz effective bandwidth for flexible electromagnetic wave absorption.

A theory for multiresolution signal decomposition: the wavelet representation

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, 1989
Multiresolution representations are effective for analyzing the information content of images. The properties of the operator which approximates a signal at a given resolution were studied. It is shown that the difference of information between the approximation of a signal at the resolutions 2/sup j+1/ and 2/sup j/ (where j is an integer) can be ...

Ground‐State Charge‐Transfer Doping in Donor–Acceptor Semiconducting Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates controlled ground‐state charge‐transfer complex formation (GS‐CTC) and doping in a series of diketopyrrolopyrrole‐based donor–acceptor semiconducting polymers paired with a π‐conjugated penta‐t‐butylpentacyanopentabenzo[25]annulene “cyanostar” macrocycle. Complementary experimental techniques show how subtle molecular, electronic,

Desert Plant Inspired Hierarchical Nanofibrous Membranes for Integrated Solar Desalination and Heavy Metal Remediation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

Emergent metrics from wavelet-transformed quantum field theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We propose a scheme by which a wavelet bulk description of a quantum field theory (QFT) can be equipped with a metric based on local multiscale correlation functions.

Deciphering the Photopolymerization‐Induced Nanostructures and Interface Formation for Submicrometer Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work reveals the UV‐curing‐induced monomer‐rich domain, oligomer‐rich domain, and entangled oligomer domain. The cured submicron films in stressed state induce interlayer nano‐wrinkle structures during the deposition of the second layer. Stress‐free cured films in relaxed state form non‐diffusive, diffusive and semi‐diffusive interlayer ...

Chaos synchronization of complex networks based on the novel four-wing chaotic system and its application in secure communication

open access: yes四川大学学报. 自然科学版, 2017
Taking the complex network as the background, and based on the Lyapunov stability theory, this paper firstly studies the asymptotic synchronization of globally coupled network, for which a new four-wing chaotic system is a node.

Charge‐Polarized Ni─S4 Single‐Atom Sites Drive Selective Photoreforming of Poly(lactic acid) to Lactate and Hydrogen

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Atomically dispersed Ni–S4 sites on CdS nanorods induce interfacial charge polarization, directing photogenerated electrons to H2 evolution and holes to selective ester‐bond cleavage of poly(lactic acid). Without sacrificial reagents, this charge‐coupled system produces lactate while suppressing overoxidation, achieving an H2 evolution rate of 41.74 ...

Disturbance Recognition of Power Quality Based on Wavelet Packet-Energy Entropy

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2010
A disturbances recognition method of power quality based on wavelet packet-energy entropy(WP-EE) was put forward,in which four layers wavelet packet decomposition of simulaed disturbance voltage signals were performed and characteristic vectors of ...

Hopping‐Mediated Zero‐Bias Photocharge Retention in Solution‐Processed Van Der Waals Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Liquid–liquid interface assembly enables the fabrication of solution‐processed MoS2 and WSe2 centimeter‐scale, nanometer‐thick type‐II heterostructures on paper. Interfacial charge separation and hopping‐limited recombination produce rectification and persistent photocharge retention at zero bias.
