ABSTRACT Warm dense matter (WDM) is a complex state, where quantum effects, thermal excitations, and strong interparticle correlations coexist. Understanding its microscopic composition and medium‐induced modifications of atomic and molecular properties is essential for planetary modeling, fusion research, and high‐energy‐density experiments.

Multimode Phonon Lasing via Self‐Induced Optical Coherent Pumping
A silicon optomechanical nanobeam generates self‐sustained phonon lasing in multiple competing mechanical modes via self‐pulsing, an intrinsic optical modulation arising from cavity nonlinearity. This self‐organized mechanism enables robust multi‐frequency operation spanning periodic, quasi‐periodic, and chaotic regimes without external modulation. The

Sundman‐Like Transformations and the NRT Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation
ABSTRACT We present a new generalization of the well‐known power‐type Sundman transformation, involving not only powers of the function but also of its derivative, along with its inverse. Our aim is to explore the use of such transformations in the derivation of solutions of ordinary differential equations and in the study of their properties.

Computational analysis to assess hemodynamic forces in descending thoracic aortic aneurysms
Abstract figure legend Left: Pre‐processing. First, we perform the segmentation of the Computer Tomography angiorgraphy (angio‐CT) scans of a healthy patient, obtaining the surface of a healthy thoracic aorta with a Type III aortic arch. Then, we build nine ideal configurations with Descending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm (DTAA), varying the aortic arch ...

Abstract figure legend Using a multiscale computational model of left ventricular electromechanics, we investigated how sarcomere dynamics influence the end‐systolic pressure‐volume (ESPV) relationship in ejecting beats compared to isovolumetric beats.

Wavelet‐Based Hurst Exponent Estimation
The review explores how wavelet‐based methods for estimating the Hurst parameters have developed from their theoretical roots to real‐world applications in fields like biology, engineering, and telecommunications. The review aims to highlight key techniques, compare their strengths and limitations, and point out challenges that still need to be ...

Weak Solutions for a Class of Nonlocal Singular Problems Over the Nehari Manifold
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a nonlocal model of dilatant non‐Newtonian fluid with a Dirichlet boundary condition. By using the Nehari manifold and fibering map methods, we obtain the existence of at least two weak solutions, with sign information.

ABSTRACT This study presents a three‐dimensional cohesive phase field framework for simulating quasi‐static fracture in Gyroid lattice structures. To the authors' knowledge, this is one of the first experimentally validated applications of a diffuse cohesive phase field model to describe damage and fracture evolution in additively manufactured ...

Mangrove expansion in a large river delta is dependent on foreshore geomorphology
Our findings provide guidance for large‐scale mangrove restoration, particularly in tropical river deltas, by identifying sites where (1) mangroves can potentially expand in the future, and (2) conditions are favourable for active mangrove seedling planting. The presence of a mudflat in front of existing mangroves is not sufficient.

From Stability to Chaos: A Complete Classification of the Damped Klein‐Gordon Dynamics
ABSTRACT We investigate the transition between stability and chaos in the damped Klein‐Gordon equation, a fundamental model for wave propagation and energy dissipation. Using semigroup methods and spectral criteria, we derive explicit thresholds that determine when the system exhibits asymptotic stability and when it displays strong chaotic dynamics ...
