Polyethylene waxes by metallocenes.
The syntheses of low-mol.-wt. polyethylene (PE), in the presence of catalysts based on five different metallocene frameworks, have been compared. High yields and low mol. masses, typical of industrially relevant PE waxes, can be easily achieved by using

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Solubility of Different Waxes in Various Solvents [PDF]
The waxes are esters formed by the union of fatty acids and alcohols not belonging to the glycerol series. Hence waxes are sharply distinguished from fats in that they contain no glycerol; they have howe er, many properties in common with true glycerides

Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a

Degradable Polymeric Waxes for Paper Coating Applications
Packaging accounts for 46% of plastic waste, and due to microplastic concerns associated with plastics, coated paper is seen as a greener alternative. However, the existing coated paper lacks recyclability and biodegradability.
