The occurrence of 11,12-dehydroursolic lactone acetate in Eucalyptus waxes
11,12-Dehydroursolic lactone acetate, previously reported as a reduction product of 11-ketoursolic acid, has been isolated from several Eucalyptus waxes. The waxes from Acacia iteaphylla F. Muell. and Acacia suaveolens Willd.

Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.

The effect of metal type and loading on n-paraffin hydrocracking conversion and selectivity
Includes bibliographical references. With the continued decline in global oil reserves, there is a growing need to develop alternative sources of conventional fuels to complement the current dependence on crude oil feedstocks.

Architected Inverse Nacre Hydrogels With High Strength and Crack‐Insensitive Toughness
Hydrogels hold promise for biomedical and engineering applications, yet their practical use is fundamentally limited by the strength‐toughness trade‐off and poor fatigue resistance. In this study, a bioinspired inverse nacre architecture constructed via a scalable thermo‐calendering process is introduced, which overcomes these classic limitations ...

Multi‐omics analyses uncover breed‐specific cis‐regulatory landscapes and higher‐order chromatin architectural differences that underlie early postnatal muscle fiber divergence in pigs. A super‐enhancer upstream of PPP3CB recruits MEF2C to activate PPP3CB transcription, while the PPP3CB–MEF2C positive feedback loop promotes oxidative muscle fiber ...

TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...

We demonstrate the covalent bonds strategy to enhance the mechanical property of PBIA fiber by using interfacial MXene‐NH2 nanosheets. The MXene‐NH2 nanosheets with reactive amino sites that can serve as nucleating agents and chain anchors to enhance orientation, crystallinity and interchain interaction of PBIA fiber via strong interfacial amido ...

Chemistry and Functionality of Plant Waxes: Applications Toward Postharvest Coatings
The cuticle of all higher-plants is covered in lipidic layers of amorphous and crystalline waxes. The chemical composition and structure of cuticular waxes impart numerous functional properties to the surfaces of plants.

Foliar spraying of CS‐CDs can form a film on the leaves of Brassica rapa, effectively reducing the enrichment and absorption of PS in the leaves, while increasing the biomass and nutrient content of the plants. In addition, CS‐CDs can also enrich the interfoliar microbial community and activate the plant's own defense metabolic pathways.
