Objective Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is caused by deletions or mutations in the survival motor neuron 1 (SMN1) gene and subsequent reduction in the expression of survival motor neuron (SMN) protein. The disease is characterized by degeneration of α motor neurons and subsequent muscle atrophy.

Spontaneous Long‐Range Order and Alignment in Phase‐Separated Dynamic Covalent Networks Using Discrete Siloxanes

Spontaneously aligned, long‐range hexagonal columnar ordering is obtained in phase‐separated dynamic covalent networks by combining discrete siloxanes and dynamic acylsemicarbazide bonds. The ordered network shows improved (thermo)mechanical properties and creep resistance compared to the disordered network.

Attractive Ni···O interactions are established in phosphine‐imidated and phosphine‐phenolate nickel catalysts, enabling non‐alternating ethylene‐carbon monoxide copolymerization, resulting in superior CO tolerance, productivity and stability compared to the state‐of‐the‐art benchmark.
