The effect of synthetic wax additives on adhesive properties of bitumen binders
Introduction. Currently, in road construction, in order to reduce energy costs and harmful emissions, warm asphalt concrete mixture technologies are being increasingly used. One way to reduce the temperature of asphalt concrete mixture prepared is to use

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Thermoresponsive Behavior of Binary Waxes
In this study, we investigated the thermoresponsive behavior of two different binary wax compositions of commercially available natural candles. The chemical nature of carbon bonds in the fatty acid chains of the natural wax component effectuate a ...

The water permeability of amorphous carbon dots (CDs) is demonstrated by investigating their plasticization. Novel polyamide‐based and amorphous nanoparticles are synthesized by controlling their inner packing density. Water plasticization is evidenced by the decrease of the CDs glass transition temperature with increasing the hydration degree.

Eutectozymes as Soft Hybrid Materials for Advanced Biocatalysis
Eutectozymes are sustainable hybrid materials that embed a GOx–HRP cascade within hydrophobic eutectogels featuring a dual supramolecular–covalent network. This architecture preserves native enzyme structure and stability, enables efficient heterogeneous biocatalysis in aqueous media, and positions eutectogels as robust platforms for next‐generation ...

The origin of multiple DSC melting peaks of Fischer-Tropsch hard waxes
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 157-163).The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analyses of the Fischer-Tropsch (FT) hard waxes display multiple melting peaks, the origin of which is unknown. The phenomenon is sometimes

An Aloe‐pinspired droplet electricity generator (A‐DEG) overcomes the limited energy collection zone of conventional DEGs by guiding impact droplets through a channeling midrib and artificial cuticle. The channeling midrib induces uni‐directional droplet spreading, while the artificial cuticle on the midrib further reinforces this behavior through its ...
