OTDM to WDM format conversion based on cascaded SHG/DFG in a single PPLN waveguide [PDF]
We propose and experimentally demonstrate error-free OTDM to WDM format conversion based on cSHG/DFG within a 30mm-long PPLN waveguide and a time-to-frequency domain conversion approach, which relies upon switching a linearly chirped ...

Crosstalk Analysis and Performance Evaluation for Torus-Based Optical Networks-on-Chip Using WDM
Insertion loss and crosstalk noise will influence network performance severely, especially in optical networks-on-chip (ONoCs) when wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology is employed.

Dynamic RWA in WDM optical network
As optical wdm networks are becoming the backbone building blocks of twenty first century’s networks due to their capacity of carrying huge bandwidth. So evaluating the performance of optical wdm networks and optimizing it, is need of the day.

Design protection for WDM optical networks [PDF]
With wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks the failure of a single link or component may cause the simultaneous failure of several optical channels, potentially making impossible restoration by rerouting directly in higher layers directly using the optical network (SDH, ATM, internal protocol (IP)).

Provisioning algorithms for WDM optical networks [PDF]
This paper concerns connection provisioning for optical networks employing wavelength division multiplexing. A heuristic algorithm is developed and numerically studied for routing and wavelength assignment of a set of static connection requests. The algorithm runs much faster than the optimum solution of this problem.
