Molecular Dynamics Studies of Shape Memory Polymers: From Bead–Spring Models to Atomistic Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

ZiZhu Generic Continuous Weak Non‑Existence of Sections Theorem and Wang's Weakest Continuity Definition

open access: yes
In this paper I proposed and proved the Zizhu Generic Continuous Weak Non-Section Theorem: in the typical (Baire generic) sense, smooth functions on a compact smooth manifold do not admit global continuous sections of finite complexity. This result provided a unified mathematical explanation for the non-flatness of the vacuum moduli space, the ...

Boundedness and Hölder continuity of weak solutions of the nonlinear boundary-value problem for elliptic equations with general nonstandard growth conditions

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica
Summary: We study a nonlinear boundary-value problem for elliptic equations with critical growth conditions involving Lebesgue measurable functions. We prove global boundedness and Hölder continuity of weak solutions for this problem. Our results generalize the ones obtained by P. Winkert and his colleagues (2012) not only in the variable exponent case

Electroactive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrocatalysis is crucial in sustainable energy conversion as it enables efficient chemical transformations. The review discusses how metal–organic frameworks can revolutionize this field by offering tailorable structures and active site tunability, enabling efficient and selective electrocatalytic processes.

Magnetic Control of Chiral Hybridized Phonon Magnetic Moments in Ferrimagnets Fe2‐xZnxMo3O8

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Helicity‐resolved magneto‐Raman spectroscopy reveals magnetic control of chiral phonon magnetic moments in polar ferrimagnet (ZnxFe2−xMo3O₈). Large spontaneous zero‐field phonon splittings, selective phonon–magnon coupling, and asymmetric Zeeman responses demonstrate that phonon chirality is governed by magnon‐phonon coupling and magnetization.

Hölder continuity of bounded weak solutions to generalized parabolic \(p\)-Laplacian equations. II: Singular case

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
This very interesting paper is intended as a companion paper of [Electron. J. Differ. Equ. 2015, Paper No. 287, 32 p. (2015; Zbl 1331.35200)] where the authors proved the Hölder continuity of solutions to degenerate parabolic equations satisfying a generalized \(p\)-Laplacian structure.

Complexation‐Mediated Diffusion‐Limited Crystal Growth: A General Framework for Anisotropic Crystal Growth in Cu‐Based Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Complexation‐Mediated Diffusion‐Limited Growth (CMDLG) framework is established to rationalize the anisotropic growth of lead‐free perovskites. Integrating coordination chemistry with mass transport kinetics, this study theoretically derives and experimentally validates that stable iodocuprate complexes induce a diffusion‐limited regime.

Hölder continuity of bounded weak solutions to generalized parabolic \(p\)-Laplacian equations. I: Degenerate case

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
In this very interesting paper, the authors generalize quasilinear parabolic \(p\)-Laplacian-type equations to obtain the prototype equation \[ u_ t - \operatorname{div}( \frac{g(|Du|)} {|Du|}Du)= 0, \] where \(g\) is a nonnegative, increasing, and continuous function trapped in between two power functions \(p_1\) and \(p_2\) greater than 2.

Uncovering the Origin of Efficiency Roll‐Off in TADF OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
OLEDs based on thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) materials often suffer from a severe drop in efficiency at high brightness levels. This work presents a technique to uncover the source of this efficiency drop, and quantifies the exciton‐exciton and exciton‐polaron annihilation processes responsible for efficiency losses in our TADF OLEDs ...
