Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

On Value Distribution of Certain Beurling Zeta-Functions

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, the approximation of analytic functions by shifts ζP(s+iτ) of Beurling zeta-functions ζP(s) of certain systems P of generalized prime numbers is discussed. It is required that the system of generalized integers NP generated by P satisfies ∑

Roll‐to‐Roll Mechanical Exfoliation for Large‐Area van der Waals Films with Preserved Crystallographic Alignment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A roll‐to‐roll exfoliation method is demonstrated that preserves the crystallographic alignment of anisotropic 2D materials over large areas, enabling scalable fabrication of directional electronic and optoelectronic devices. Abstract Anisotropic 2D materials such as black phosphorus (BP), GeS or CrSBr, exhibit direction‐dependent optical and ...

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Concentration of the empirical spectral distribution of random matrices with dependent entries

open access: yes, 2018
We investigate concentration properties of spectral measures of Hermitian random matrices with partially dependent entries. More precisely, let $X_n$ be a Hermitian random matrix of size $n\times n$ that can be split into independent blocks of the size ...

Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...

Joint discrete approximation of analytic functions by shifts of Lerch zeta-functions

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis
The Lerch zeta-function depends on two real parameters λ and  and, for σ > 1, is defined by the Dirichlet series , and by analytic continuation elsewhere. In the paper, we consider the joint approximation of collections of analytic functions by discrete

Photoconductivity‐Driven Quantum Efficiency Gain in Inorganic Ruddlesden‐Popper Layered Cs2PbBr2I2 Perovskite Photodetector for Visible Light Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rational halogen mixing strategy was employed to shift the bandgap of Cs2PbBr2I2 from ultraviolet to visible region, enabling first realization of a visible‐light photodetector with this 2D layered Ruddlesden‐Popper perovskite material. Under illumination, light‐induced internal field forms and drives trap‐mediated persistent photoconductivity ...
