Weak Crossover and Projection Theory
application/pdf The purpose of this paper is to present an analysis of the fact that Japanese, unlike English, does not exhibit adjunct/argument asymmetry with weak crossover effects. In the following pages, an attempt wm be made to show that the adoption of Stowell’s (1987) slash-indexing analysis of Weak Crossover and a system of category projection ...

Deciphering Intricacies in Directional CO2 Conversion From Electrolysis to CO2 Batteries
This review will delve into the inherent connections and distinctions of CO2‐directed conversion in ECO2RR and CO2 batteries, in terms of product types, catalyst selection, catalytic mechanisms, and electrochemical performances, while proposing a benchmarking framework for the evaluation of CO2 batteries and innovative CO2 battery configurations for ...

Embedding imidazolium‐biphosphate ion pairs directly into the polybenzimidazole main chain simultaneously stabilizes phosphoric acid and preserves continuous proton transport pathways. Strong ion‐pair and hydrogen‐bond interactions suppress acid leaching while maintaining high conductivity, enabling stable and durable high‐temperature fuel cell ...

Abstract Generating hydrogel beads pertains to many engineering applications. We examined two alginate‐based fluids at three concentrations of alginate, cAG$$ {c}_{\mathrm{AG}} $$. We used the “Map of Misery” to determine which material property (viscosity, elasticity, and inertia) drives droplet formation.

In this work, the Doubao large language model (LLM) is involved in the formula derivation processes for Hubbard U determination regarding the second‐order perturbations of the chemical potential. The core ML tool is optimized for physical domain knowledge, which is not limited to parameter prediction but rather serves as an interactive physical theory ...

A Flexible and Energy‐Efficient Compute‐in‐Memory Accelerator for Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks
This article presents KA‐CIM, a compute‐in‐memory accelerator for Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks (KANs). It enables flexible and efficient computation of arbitrary nonlinear functions through cross‐layer co‐optimization from algorithm to device. KA‐CIM surpasses CPU, ASIC, VMM‐CIM, and prior KAN accelerators by 1–3 orders of magnitude in energy‐delay ...

Matrix and Relative Weak Crossover in Japanese: An Experimental Investigation
This paper provides evidence that weak crossover effects differ in nature between matrix and relative clauses. Fukushima et al. (2024) provided similar evidence, showing that, when various non-structural factors were eliminated English speakers never accepted matrix weak crossover cases, but often accepted relative weak crossover ones.
